DAY 1


After pickups we travel North to Scotland for our four night stay at the Northwest Castle hotel.

DAY 2


This morning we visit the delightful Castle Kennedy gardens one of Scotland’s hidden treasures, with its historical collection of Rhododendrons.

Afterwards we travel to Kitchen Coos & Ewes at High Airyolland Farm for a guided experience of Highland cows in their natural environment.

After the tour of the farm in a passenger trailer we return for a sheep shearing OR a sheep dog demonstration and then enjoy a cream tea in the farmhouse kitchen.

DAY 3


This morning we enjoy a scenic drive to Ayr where we will visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum dedicated to Scotland’s favourite son and his unique writing.

In the afternoon we visit the magnificent Culzean Castle and gardens with its stunning cliff top setting, its magnificent oval staircase and fine collection of paintings in the numerous lavish rooms.

DAY 4


Day off in Stranraer.

Stranraer is known as the Gateway to the Rhins of Galloway. It is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful, less-trodden part of Scotland, known for its stunning natural landscapes, gardens, and coastline. 

Visit one of the many historic sites such as, t
he 16th-century Castle of St John, a medieval tower house which is a prominent feature in the town centre. You could also visit the Stranraer Museum, which has exhibits on the town's history.


Visit the harbour and waterfront of Loch Ryan which offers a pleasant spot for relaxing, enjoying views of the ferries to Ireland, and is the location for water sports activities. Or take a wander through Agnew Park. This well-designed park features a large boating lake with various boats for hire, a mini-train, and play areas, making it a great attraction.

DAY 5


We leave the hotel after breakfast to travel home.
