After pickups we travel to Tynemouth for our 4 night stay at the Castle Inn hotel.
We travel to South Shields a quaint and traditional seaside resort. This classic seaside experience has family-friendly attractions, golden sandy beaches, coastal walks, and nearby historical sites like Arbeia Roman Fort. Visitors can enjoy amusement arcades, bars, and events on the seafront, as well as the protected coastal path, The Leas.
We travel north to the iconic Alnwick Castle & gardens. We have included a guided tour of the State rooms. The castle was the filming location for some of the Harry Potter films.After the visit we have free time in the lovely Alnwick town.
Day off to explore the lovely area.In Tynemouth, you can explore historical sites like the Tynemouth Priory and Castle and walk along the Victorian Tynemouth Pier for coastal views. Enjoy watersports or relax on the beaches, including Longsands Beach, and try famous local cuisine such as Riley's Fish Shack's seafood.
We leave the hotel after breakfast to travel home.
