After pickups we travel to Babbacombe for our stay at the Anchorage Hotel.

DAY 2

We travel to the to lovely market town of Newton Abbott.

Afterwards we visit the picturesque village of Cockington where we visit Our Glass, a glass workshop where the skilled workers lovingly create a wide selection of original, imaginatively coloured glassware, using traditional (Roman) glassmaking skills and techniques.

DAY 3

We travel to the lovely coastal town of Teignmouth.

In the afternoon we travel to the picturesque resort of Brixham.

DAY 4

Day off in Babbacombe.

Babbacombe offers a variety of attractions ranging from stunning coastal views to a famous miniature village.

The model village is a vast, award-winning miniature world set in four acres of gardens. It features over 400 models and 13,000 miniature residents, with fun spotter sheets for children. You can also play mini-golf and visit the indoor Mythical Kingdom.

Take a ride on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway, which, for nearly a century, this funicular railway has transported visitors down the steep cliff face to Oddicombe Beach. The ride offers breathtaking views of the coastline. Once down at the beach, you can relax on the red sand. There is also a café and a pier that is popular for fishing.
 
 Or take a walk along the Downs for fantastic panoramic views of the bay. You can also find several places to eat and drink here. And don't miss a visit to the Bygones museum, an indoor attraction which transports visitors back to the Victorian era. It features a life-sized street, an authentic World War I trench, a model railway, and a huge railway tank engine.
