DAY 2

We leave the hotel this morning to travel into Brussels.

We have free time here today.

In Brussels, you can explore iconic landmarks like the historic Grand Place - admire this stunning medieval square and its ornate architecture, the quirky Atomium: an iconic landmark from the 1958 World's Fair for panoramic city views and exhibits and the famous Manneken Pis statue, a beloved and cheeky landmark.

Enjoy world-renowned Belgian chocolate, beer, and waffles, discover street art on a comic strip walk, and delve into art and history at the city's many museums including the Magritte museum, the Museum of Natural Sciences and the Comics Art Museum.

Don't miss a visit to the elegant Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert and the impressive Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral. And make sure to visit Mini-Europe, a charming park featuring miniature replicas of famous European landmarks.

DAY 3

We leave the hotel at lunchtime today and travel first to the Beautiful City of Bruges, known as the Venice of the North.

It boasts medieval buildings, cobbled streets, quaint canals and lots of shops selling the famous Belgian chocolates.

In the afternoon we travel to Ypres famous for the Menin Gate memorial.

This lovely town boasts a historic Cloth Hall, impressive Cathedral and medieval market square. The city is best known for what happened here a little over a hundred years ago. It is the unofficial capital of Flanders fields, site of numerous battles during the 1st World War. The "City of Peace" still commemorates these events daily, at the In Flanders Fields Museum and under its Menin Gate memorial.
Night after night at 8pm the Last Post sounds in tribute to the soldiers who fell, ensuring that we never forget this war.

Return back to the hotel after the ceremony.

DAY 4

After breakfast we leave the hotel to travel to Calais for our sailing to the UK.

On arrival in Dover, we continue the journey home.
