Mid-morning departure to travel to Kent where we check into our hotel for the overnight stop.

Evening meal included tonight.

After breakfast we leave the hotel and travel to Dover for our short ferry crossing to Calais.

On arrival in Calais we continue the journey to our overnight hotel in France.

We leave the hotel after breakfast and travel to the main hotel in Darfo Boario Terme in Italy for our six night stay.

COMO AND LAKE COMO
We leave the hotel this morning and drive to charming town of Como on the southern tip of Lake Como and stroll through the walled old town with its alleyways and boutiques.
The city's sights include the Duomo, the old Broletto Town Hall and Piazza Cavour, the centre of Como.

In the afternoon we will take a boat trip from Como to Cernobbio and back to enjoy the landscape of the Gulf of Lake Como.

TRAIN RIDE ON THE BERNINA EXPRESS LINE FROM TIRANO TO ST. MORITZ
After breakfast we travel through the Valtellina valley to Tirano. Here the Rhaetian Railway is already waiting to take us on an impressive Alpine crossing on the legendary Bernina Express route.
The journey through beautiful narrow valleys is considered one of the most spectacular sections of the mountain railway. Stunning vistas delight the eyes at every turn.

This brings us to St. Moritz, meeting point of the jet set from all over the world.

Then we return by coach through the Upper Engadine Valley and onto to the hotel.

DAY AT LEISURE

BORROMEAN ISLANDS AND STRESA
Today we drive to Lake Maggiore for a boat trip to the famous Borromean Islands with their ornate gardens, magnificent buildings, elegant villas and subtropical vegetation.
There will be a visit to the sumptuous Baroque Palace on Isola Bella before enjoying some free time in the fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori.

We return to shore to discover historic Stresa with its elegant promenade and picturesque old town.

LAKE GARDA
Today we travel to Italy's largest lake, Lake Garda and begin with a visit to the beatiful town of Sirmione, on the southernmost shore of the lake once home to famous singer Maria Callas.

We take a boat on Lake Garda from Piazzale Porto. As we round the Sirmione peninsula we will then make our way to Desenzano. Here we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the coast called "La Romantica" before returning back to Sirmione. The tour lasts about one hour.

We leave the hotel this morning to travel to France for our overnight stop.
