DAY 2

We leave the hotel and travel to Arlington Court & Gardens.

It is an unexpected jewel on the edge of Exmoor, a complete family estate held by the Chichester family for over 500 years.

After the house visit, wander the formal Victorian garden with herbaceous borders, a fountain, walled kitchen garden and conservatory growing exotic plants from around the world.

DAY 3

We leave the hotel and travel to South Molton where we will visit the Quince Honey Farm with a tour.

After the visit we continue to the lovely seaside resort of Ilfracombe.

DAY 4

Day off today in Bideford.

This historic harbour town is packed with independent shops, local produce and the picturesque quay, which draws visitors during every season.

Bideford was once Britain’s third largest port and while it still has maritime connections, these days, it is more widely known as being a thriving shopping centre, with a historic Pannier Market as well as being the home to the Atlantic Village outlet, where you can find your favourite brands at bargain prices.

There are also many nature attractions to explore as well as walking and cycling trails and ferry trips or why not take a stroll along the quay and admire the expansive waterfront.

DAY 5

We leave the hotel after breakfast to travel home.
