ITINERARY


DAY 1:
After local pick ups we travel to Troon for our four night stay. There will be welcoming tea and shortbread on arrival.

DAY 2:
After breakfast we travel to Ardrossan for the 40 minute sea crossing to the Isle of Arran, known as "Scotland in Miniature''. We visit the attractive Brodick Castle & Gardens. We continue the day with a scenic tour around the island taking in stunning sea views. Returning late afternoon.

DAY 3:
Coastal drive northwards stopping at the seaside resort of Largs. Continue on passing Greenock famous for building the QE2 to Balloch on the southern shores of Loch Lomond There will be free time at the retail outlet here. Then we enjoy a cruise on this beautiful Loch before returning back to the hotel.

DAY 4:
After breakfast we travel into the Southern Uplands and East Ayrshire. First stop is the Renaissance styled Drumlanrig Castle & Gardens. After lunch, head north through the woodland uplands, stop in Turnberry and its world famous golf course. Continue back to the hotel with fine sea views all the way.

DAY 5:
After breakfast we leave the hotel to travel home.
